| A Non-Profit Group Bringing Free Public WiFi To The Grand Traverse Region NEWS: 6/21/05 TCWF WIFI AT OPEN SPACE! Thanks to Wireless First and the removal of the power plant building, there is now free communitiy WiFi at the Open Space. Coverage is huge! Come try it! NEWS: 6/14/05 WNMC's Radio Anyway did a piece last week on TCWF in their 6/4/05 program on different kinds of 'invasions'. NEWS: 9/1/04 The Traverse Area District Library now has free wifi at the main library building. More info... NEWS: 6/22/04 Another new hotspot at Luigi's Pizzeria & Cafe next to NMC's main entrance. Includes the outdoor seating. NEWS: 5/18/04 New nodes going up! The first is complete at Bart's BBQ downtown. Several more in the coming days. Watch here! NEWS: 8/13/03 Due to popular demand, there's now coverage inside Another Cuppa Joe at Building 50, in addition to the outdoor coverage. NEWS: 6/30/03 WiFi at the Open Space during the National Cherry Festival will be provided by TCWF, Wireless First and Byte Productions. Come try it out, July 5th through 12th! NEWS: 6/18/03 The Holiday Inn patio node is now up. This will hopefully be the first of many bayside TCWF access points. NEWS: 5/25/03 I haven't used it yet, but check out Trepia. It's an IM for local wifi. A good tool for social interaction with others on the same wifi node. NEWS: 5/23/03 The Horizon node is up for good.
